3rd Task

The 2nd and 3rd tasks were quite similar and I found myself producing similar work. The 3rd task was about mark making to music. I produced a few pieces of work but it wasn't until I refined my work and picked out my favourite bits of it that I produced work I really liked.
I kept getting hung up on the marks I was making in response to the music. They were very erratic and would travel across the page in different sizes and directions. I liked this the most as In every task I would rely on the marks that I made and manipulate them. I listened to a number of songs and had a collection of drawings all interesting in their own way. It wasn't until I took my work that one step further into the refinement process that I came out with a strong final piece. I took all my favourite aspects from my drawings and brought them together in one piece. I used colour and repeat pattern lots of marks I really liked it and found the refinement process really helpful.
