Film & music drawings

Today we had fun! I really enjoyed the exercises we did, we were told to draw what we heard. Then Mary our tutor started playing music, at first i found it difficult but soon I got into the hang of things and it became much easier. I tried it at home to the Kings of Leon.
I started off with just one pencil but then started using two pencils taped together to get a 3D effect which looked really effective. I changed the scale colour and medium I drew in, after the scroll drawing we moved onto film.
We painted directly onto it which was pretty cool as I love films but film itself isn't something I'm not too familiar with and it was a great way to make film more tactile and real as we used it as a drawing surface which was cool. At the end of the day we played the film and watched our drawings come to life. I really like the work I produced, I enjoyed my day thoroughly.
Below are some images of my work and the film drawings.
