Peer Group Review

This week we had a peer group review when students are put into groups & constructively criticize other student’s work. I was given 4 points to work on by the people who evaluated my work.
Point number one told me that I had good visual research & good development but they couldn't quite see where my motifs had come from. This is a good point, which I intend to refer back to in future. A time line of my projects development from images right the way through to motifs & final designs.
The second point brought up was that they thought my colour palate was off & that I was using too much yellow. This was a very good point which I'm glad they brought up in future I will always refer back to my colour palate to make sure I am using the right colours & the right proportion of said colour.
The third was words they used to describe my work which were, summery, spring, colourful. These are all words I have used to describe my source image so I feel that they are all well in tone with what type of colour mood I want to get across which is a positive point.
The fourth point was that I need to do more drawing & visual development. I agree with this point I think I do need more drawings as I want to keep creating new motifs, I will keep this point in mind when I am next looking through my pictures.

I found this exercise interesting to take part in & I got a great deal of help as a result so I think it was a very good exercise.
